Packages are generally dispatched within 5 days after receipt of payment and are worldwide shipped via recorded delivery service only. A return address is always attached to each order. Shipping fees include handling and packing, as well as postage costs. Special care is taken to well protect your items. 

The calculated shipping cost is based on the seller's and buyer's locations, the weight and dimensions of the package.

2. General provisions regarding data privacy

We only collect and use personally identifiable information with the explicit consent of the users or if legal provisions permit or require us to do so. The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6, Sec. 1 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your personally identifiable information are shared with third parties only for processing and handling orders (such as payments and shipping). Your personal data is not shared with third parties for promotional purposes. All our service contractors which receive your personally identifiable information are required to adhere to legal provisions concerning data privacy.

Commercial law or tax law provisions may require us to store data several years after the contract has been concluded. We implement suitable measures to protect the privacy, security and integrity of the whole process of collection, processing and storage of the data we collect.
 

3. Log files for website visits

If you visit our websites your browser will automatically transmit several data to our server. These data are temporarily stored in so-called log files. The following data is stored without any action on your end:

- the IP-address of the computer requesting the webpage
- date and time of the request
- address of the requested webpage
- browser and operating system versions
- the address of the previously visited webpage

These data are processed by us for the following uses:

- maintaining a functional connection to our website
- maintaining a convenient use of our website
- analysis of system stability and security

We never combine this data with other personally identifiably data or use it to draw conclusions about your person. 


4. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are text files which are stored in your browser, respectively by your browser, in your file system. These text files contain short characteristic character sequences, which allow for a unique identification of a browser across several web pages of our website. A coherent and continuous visit of a user on our website is called a "session". During this session, a user may add several items to the shopping cart, may enter his address and payment details and may complete his order. With two so-called "session cookies" it is possible to attribute all these steps to the same user. These session cookies are deleted after the session is over, which happens either if a user completes his order, or if he stops visiting our website. If users visits our website for the first time with a particular device and browser a pop-up notification is displayed which informs the user about our use of cookies. To avoid that this notification is displayed repeatedly during one visit and subsequent ones, a third cookie, which only serves the purpose to record the fact that the notification has been displayed, is created and stored. For the convenience of the user, this cookie is never deleted, unless the user takes action to delete it manually with his browser settings.

Cookies can not be used to start programs on your computer or to infect your computer with a virus.


5. Orders and customer data

We collect, process and use the following data resulting from orders of our customers:

- your full name
- billing and delivery address
- telephone number
- email address
- payment method and payment details
- date and time of the order
- data of ordered products


6. Shipping providers

Taxi Driver collaborates with the following shipping provider: Poste Italiane and SDA. Only your delivery address is shared with these providers, which are required to adhere to all legal provisions concerning data privacy.


7. Payment providers
 
All payment providers are required to adhere to all legal provisions concerning data privacy. 
 
For payments made via PayPal, we transfer the customer's data (name, delivery address, payment amount, ordered products, email address) to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, in line with the order. Taxi Driver does not have access to any data pertaining to the customer's bank or credit card details in this process. 
 

8. Newsletter

With our regular newsletter, we inform you about our activities and offers. We use the so-called opt-in process for subscriptions to our newsletter. We also send to every new customer from our webstore, Bandcamp or Discogs account a first welcome message and newsletter via email from our address taxidriverworld.news@gmail.com
 
We currently use Mailchimp company (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA) to help personalize your experience.
 
With the subscription to Taxi Driver newsletter, we store your email address and the subscription date. No other data is collected. Your data is not forwarded to third parties.
 
You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email addresses as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time. You can do this by contacting us via the means outlined in Section 1 or by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter.

 
9. Contact form

You can contact us via the contact form on the website www.taxidriverstore.com. If you do so we collect the following data: a) your name, b) your email address, c) your message. These data are not shared with third parties and are only used for communicating with you and replying to your messages.


10. Your data privacy rights

If your personally identifiable is processed, you are an affected person according to the GDPR and thus you have following rights towards the controller (Taxi Driver).

a) Information
At any time, you have the right to obtain information concerning the storage of your personal data; also in regard to its origin, the recipients, whom the data was transferred to and the purpose of data processing, the duration of its storage, the existence of a right to correct it, delete it, and to limit its processing or revoke the consent to process it.

b) Correction
You have the right to demand correction and completion of incorrect or incomplete data related to you.

c) Deletion
You have the right to demand deletion of the data related to you if the keeping of data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose pursued with the storage or storage is impermissible based on legal specifications.

d) Restriction of processing
In the event that you dispute the personal data stored in connection with you or if you require the personal data for the assertion, exercising or defence of legal claims, but at the same time, we do no longer require this data, you can request the restriction of the processing of said personal data. This right to object also applies to direct advertising in connection with your data.

At any time, you have the right to revoke your consent given for the use of data. This implies that we have to stop processing the data in the ways that you had consented to for the future.

h) Complaint
You also have the right to file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data. By default you may direct such a complaint to an authority at your residence, or at an authority at the residence of our company.
